Thea Ingrid: Where Engineering Meets Art and Safety Meets Soul 🚗✨

I used to think life was black and white - ones and zeros, logic and chaos, safety and risk. Then I realized... the most beautiful things exist in the in-between.

During the day, I'm an Autonomous Vehicle Safety Engineer - literally designing the future so your self-driving car doesn't yeet you into a ditch 🤖💥. At night? I'm a painter, poet and perpetual seeker of beauty because safety isn't just about algorithms; it's about the human spirit.

Three years ago I hit rock bottom: burnt out, 20 lbs heavier, and so numb I couldn't even feel the art I was making. My body was a glitchy machine and my mind was fogged up with code and caffeine. Then - snap - I realized: if I can engineer safety for machines, why not engineer it for myself?

So I rewrote my life.

• Replaced all nighters with sunrise yoga on my balcony (because an engineer who can't bend is a shrink-wrapped disaster waiting to happen 🧘‍♀️🔥)
• Swapped take-out with meal preps which are so colorful that they should be in an art gallery 🎨 (yes, I will judge your sad beige salad).
• Uninstalled hustle culture and installed slow living 2.0 (turns out, creativity can flow when you're not a zombie).

Now? I am obsessed with the overlap of tech and tenderness - the place where rigid equations can meet raw emotion. My art is bolder, my code is cleaner, and oh my god, I finally feel alive.

Join me in demolishing the myth that STEM cannot be sensual, that safety cannot be sexy, and that you must choose between logic and a passion. Spoiler alert: you don't.
