Growing up in a small town where the gym was a dusty garage and "wellness" meant eating your mom's casserole guilt free, I never thought I would be here: jumping between the sunsets in Bali & the glaciers in Iceland trying to help strangers love their bodies while I was still trying to learn to love mine.
It started with a broken heart (so cliche, I know). At 22—as I cried into a pint of "low-fat" ice cream (seriously, who do I think I am?)—it dawned on me. "Damn. I have been treating my body like a garbage can and my mind like a jail cell." So I did what any sensible girl would do—booked a one-way ticket to Thailand, learned to meditate (between hangovers), and accidentally became a yoga instructor. Ooooops.
Now? I'm the friend who will drag you to the top of a mountain at 6AM to watch the sunrise and treat you to pancakes 🥞 after (heh, gluten-free, but good). My sweat has been shed in 40 countries, I cried in 12 and laughed relentlessly in all of them. My life is messy, but it is magic—and I am going to prove to you that wellness does not mean perfection. It’s just showing up, with messy hair, questionable squat form and all.
