My first "studio" was a corner of my ex-boyfriend's attic (we broke up a week later - long story). I lived primarily on instant ramen and the joy of creation, often coding by candlelight when the hydro was cut off. Isn't that romantic? Absolutely not. It was a nightmarish experience. But hell is forging me.
Then, The Pivot happened. I recognized that design wasn't merely about aesthetics — it was about empathy. It was about making technology feel human. So I took my obsession with gestural abstraction from art school and my nerdy love for UX — and fused them together. I developed interfaces that not only functioned — they enticed. Fast forward through two failed start-ups, one nervous breakdown (artistic souls are but fragile creatures, darling), and a very dodgy investment from a crypto bro who thought NFTs were "like, digital Pokémon." But here I stand. Still standing. Still creating. Still petrified every damned day. Because the moment you stop fearing the blank canvas is the moment you become irrelevant.
