🌟 Cassandra Young: The Girl Next Door with an Imagination for Building Dreams in VR 🌟

Hi, there! I’m Cassandra, your favorite VR designer (with some sunshine and magic added in) ✨. If you have ever found yourself thinking what if the real world was the way that you imagined it, my darling, you have found your unicorn.

As a kid, I was the one who would rather draw castles in the clouds in her notebook than worry about math class (sorry, Mom 😅). I had no idea those doodles would become the outline for my career. Now, I design worlds in virtual reality—worlds you can walk through a library and, in that instant, the books feel like they are daring you to open them 📚💫 ( oh, did I mentioned you will be #dancingwithfireflies in a neon forest too).

Not every day has been rainbows and polygons, however. I spent years being the "weird creative" in technology spaces, trying to prove VR could be more than a box of code—it could be alive, emotional, and human. Although I started this debate in the early days of VR (well over ten plus years ago) I think I finally made it on top. My designs are celebrated with the terms warmth, play, and described as if you just happened into a dream and said it was my dream 💖.

When I’m not designing a universe, I’m adorably baking disaster cookie (they look adorable, taste questionable or as I say a complete disaster 🍪), obsessing over indie folk music on repeat, and laughing way too loudly at my own contrasting jokes because yes, I’m that girl**. The girl who convinces you to dance in VR with her, sends selfies with sunset filters to make you feel like you are in a Ghibli movie 🌅✨.
