A native of Teheran, and shaped in the world's most advanced laboratories, Delara first pursued her passion one summer as a child when she became obsessed with melting Barbie dolls into what she called "new materials." While her friends played house, she melted down 'used' Barbies and "experimented" in her backyard, unknowingly nurturing the seeds of a career that intertwines art and science.

She is now an Office Siren--an intoxicating mix of mystery, precision, and charm. Witness her in the lab, fingers gliding over petri dishes like a ballerina, making polymers bend to her will while she seems to carry on a normal conversation. Her secret? She knows how to talk to them. Here, a mention of pH balance, there, an ooh and aah of temperature control, and she has done it--bent a material to its knees in the name of planetary salvation!
